The Sunday Currently Vol. 8

I intentionally didn’t blog for weeks because I don’t have the heart to do it. I’ve been in a roller coaster ride and dealing with it was seriously damaging for me. Now that I’m back, I’m glad that I’m back on my feet again. Another week is here to stay.   Reading I’ve been obsessing on the Vice Presidential vote tallies lately. This obsession led me to making a new twitter account which only focuses on reliable news and accessible information. I’ve made it a habit when I’m at work instead of trying to access social media during working hours.…

My Two Cents on The 2016 Philippine Elections

There will still be some special elections on May 14. But why is Mrs. Robredo claiming the Vice President post as if she was already proclaimed as the Philippine’s VP? Will her party try vote buying again? Philippines is still a democratic country, right? So I guess I can still express my two cents on this issue. The Philippines has been governed by different generations of Cojuangcos and Aquinos not only in the presidential post but also in different government agencies, government organizations and sects, and even in entertainment. Since it’s already there and we can’t really change the fact…

The Sunday Currently Vol. 7

My Sunday Currently should already be the 8th but because I was out of town last week, I wasn’t able to update my blog. I’m currently at my hometown to visit my family and to vote for the elections tomorrow.   Reading I’m currently reading my twitter timeline and After Us by Sourpatchedkid on Wattpad. Listening Listening to the ruffling of the leaves, the crowing of the rooster and the barking of the dogs. Thinking Thinking about how Ino and I ended up arguing about our jeepney mannerisms. Smelling Smelling the print of the newspaper on the desk. I don’t like it and I’m…

The Sunday Currently Vol. 6

One more hour before the weekend finishes. 🙂   Reading I’m currently reading some e-mails while I’m preparing for the grammar test.   Listening Listening to the neighbor’s #Karaokepamore.   Thinking Thinking about the grammar test and how I’m going to review it.   Smelling Smelling some disinfectant spray because there are a lot of ants here.   Wishing and Hoping Wishing and Hoping that my students will give me a high score for my TSR. I also hope that I’d get to pass or get a high score for the grammar test. 🙂   Wearing Wearing a daster again which was…

The Sunday Currenly Vol. 5

I almost forgot that I was supposed to do my Sunday Currently. I am already sleepy but I am fighting this sleepiness and laziness. So here it goes:   Reading I’m currently reading What camera should I buy? Use our step-by-step guide.    Listening Listening to the clicking of the mouse, the sound of the vibrations coming from the electric fan and some typing sounds.   Thinking Thinking about the compact camera that I’m going to purchase soon. 🙂   Smelling Smelling my hair. It smells like the anti-dandruff shampoo of Palmolive Naturals.   Wishing and Hoping Wishing and Hoping that my…

Mirrorless Camera or a DSLR Camera?

I’m not knowledgeable in cameras or photography but I’m willing to learn and I’m quite interested with how it works. I have a digital camera with removable batteries from Kingcom, a small digital camera from Kodak, and I’m quite satisfied with my LG G3’s camera. However, since I started writing on this blog, I realized that I need my own camera for my own reviews, life events and other blogging related moment. I was not really into cameras and photography at all, but everything changed when Ino and I went to Summer Komikon 2016 (which I haven’t posted yet due to lack of…

Woo Galbi

These photos were taken on December 6, 2014 in 6022, East Wing Building, Edsa Corner Shaw Blvd, Wack – Wack, Mandaluyong, 1550 Metro Manila.           One of the most delicious Korean restaurants in Shangri-La Mall was Woo Galbi. It was quite expensive but the food was worth it. 🙂 Ino and I went to Shangri-La for our date. Since we are a big Korean food foodie, we decided to dine in here instead of dining in at a Japanese restaurant. We didn’t explore their different dishes but I’m looking forward to visiting it again. 🙂

Seattle’s Best SM Mega Mall

These photos were taken at SM Mega Mall on July 4, 2015.     We got a couple of coupons from Seattle’s Best when we bought two tickets at the SM Cinema. For some reason, I already forgot the title of the movie and I really can’t remember how we got the coupons.

Peanuts in SM Mega Mall

These pictures are taken on SM Mega Mall on June 6, 2015.                    I really didn’t know why Snoopy was featured in SM Mega Mall so here’s a news article from the Philippine Star.   For Snoopy, home is where the art is: SM Megamall brings you Peanuts Artland By Chonx Tibajia (The Philippine Star) | Updated June 7, 2015 – 12:00am MANILA, Philippines – Snoopy’s iconic red, physics-defying doghouse, the one he awkwardly straddles and balances on as he gazes at the sky while getting all wise about life, is getting a…
