Franchesca is a twenty-something Filipina who lives in one of the Metropolitan Cities in Manila, Philippines. She is a graduate of Bachelor of Arts Mass Communications with a major in Journalism in one of the universities in the Mendiola Consortium.
She unintentionally joined the blogging world in the early 2000s. It was by chance that she stumbled upon Xanga.com and LiveJournal.com. She used those blogging platforms to write about silly things about her personal life which was very fundamental for her at that time. It has also become her online diary for years.
She didn’t have much of an idea about what the purpose of blogging was. At that time, she only knows that she wants to express how she feels. She doesn’t really care about what people think whenever she writes something from the heart.
She discovered Tumblr in 2009. She doesn’t know what Tumblr was really about and how it works but she also figured it out with the help of the other Tumblr users. It took her years to outgrow Tumblr and when she finally decided that she wants to use a more serious blogging platform, she decided to transfer to WordPress.
She started using WordPress to write differently. She tried to refrain ranting on her page and made more meaningful posts instead. She was able to make simple reviews on food, places, events, books, movies and songs for fun. She also discovered Sidda Thornton’s The Sunday Currently.
She appreciated blogs more by following fellow WordPress bloggers and other local and international bloggers through different blogging categories. She discovered her interest in make up blogs and reviews. She also discovered interest in other people’s opinion about sociocultural events and politics.
She believes that over time she has become a more matured writer and blogger. However, she doesn’t deny the fact that she’s still a work in progress. She may come off as a very opinionated person but she always tries her best to be objective than subjective.
Her reviews are mostly free and are usually based on her experience. She hasn’t wrote a review for a certain brand or service or establishment for profit. If you would like to collaborate or have your service or product reviewed, please don’t hesitate to send her an email via firstname.lastname@example.org.
